We offer a full range of services with competitive pricing and unmatched customer service. Our attention to detail and focus on solutions sets us apart. We can produce what you need, and we can also handle the background, the development, the design…and we put our hearts into everything we do.
Referrals and word of mouth are very important to us, particularly in this city over the last couple of years. We deal with such a variety of people – individuals, households, families to large institutions.
What do you love about Kingston?
It has been a challenging couple of years, but we have been well positioned. The support of people in the city has been fantastic. It has been a real ‘put your money where your mouth is’ moment. There seemed to be a rallying mentality that we have promoted and taken advantage of to a degree. We’re very happy with the way things are looking right now.
Kingston is a tight-knit community in many ways. We offer so much to so many people and compete with the big centres – the opportunities are there. But at its core, Kingston is very much a small town in its mentality, the way we work with each other, and the way we live. It’s a great combination, particularly when you’re trying to get through a pandemic.
We have everything from a cultural, arts, and entertainment point of view. You cannot beat Kingston as a tourism destination in the summer. We are perfectly located in that we’re close to the big city centres and still enjoy everything we have here.
Why start your own business?
Nancy and I spent our entire careers here. We have been active in the community since the beginning of our careers. It’s an amazing city with every opportunity from a business-personal-family perspective that you could look for. It’s very much a growing community and we like the future of Kingston. There’s nowhere either of us would rather work.
Could you tell us about a customer you served recently that really made you smile?
We recently completed round two of a big project for Queen’s University. It was part of a package sent out to those who graduated during the pandemic and didn’t get a traditional convocation. The graduates received customized scarves in these beautiful little boxes. We put through more than 10,000 of these over the last little while.
What are a few of your favourite businesses in Kingston?
There’s so many. Restaurants come to mind now that we can go back into them. The amazing array of places to eat, cool places to shop, and beautiful places to visit across the city…I love Kingston in the summer and I am especially happy to spend time on the waterfront and on the water whenever I can.
There’s such a variety of things to see, do, and eat. It’s hard to whittle it down!
